1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Pocket Proof, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the authority to enter into these terms on behalf of yourself or your organisation, and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Description of Service

Pocket Proof is a financial receipt and invoice management platform that allows teams to upload, manage and approve financial documents. The service includes integration capabilities with accounting software and provides reporting and export functionality.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at info@pocketproof.co.za if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

Pocket Proof offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to pay all fees associated with your chosen plan. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Pocket Proof to:

• Upload fraudulent or falsified documents
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Transmit malicious code or interfere with our service
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of Pocket Proof is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process your data in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and applicable international data protection laws.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features and functionality of Pocket Proof including but not limited to software, text, graphics and logos are the exclusive property of Pocket Proof and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

Pocket Proof shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
